OUR STORY

Since our founding in 2000, Rome has evolved from a single-office freight brokerage into a multifaceted global 3PL provider with more than 10 offices across North America. Most recently, we expanded our footprint with the opening of our Charlotte, North Carolina office, further strengthening our ability to serve customers and support growing supply chains throughout the region.

While our roots are firmly planted in freight brokerage, our services have grown organically to include contract freight, fully outsourced 3PL solutions, customs brokerage, project management, LTL, FTL, and much more. Year after year, Rome continues to grow by staying true to the values that have defined us from the beginning: trust, accountability, and exceptional customer service.

From day one, we’ve believed that every customer has unique transportation challenges and goals. By taking the time to understand those needs, we’ve built long-lasting partnerships through customized logistics solutions and a commitment to continuous improvement. IN THE FUTURE

No company can create everything they want overnight, after all, Rome wasn't built in a day. The Rome Logistics Group, however, is as forward focused as it gets. It isn't as easy as just hiring the right employees, strengthening niche specialties, developing new technologies or introducing new services, although these things are paramount to Rome's growth plan. For us, the key to growth is focusing on the customer experience. Although this may seem simple enough, for us we take pride in staying fixated on feedback from customers, keeping a close eye on trends and keeping communication open between all parties.
Success in the logistics/3PL marketplace is driven by maintaining and building relationships, developing new connections and always increasing an intelligent network of partnerships and affiliations. As we continue to help our clients succeed and grow, we will continue to expand our offices into as many key locations throughout North America to better develop these relationships and connections. Our small team approach is one which is quite unique in the industry and keeps every client dealing with a small team of a few people who know the account intimately and can give accurate information as it is requested.
